Our salon has four amazing hairstylists, Alfred, Mei, Oscar and Bruce. Your appointment will be arranged according to the hairstylist's availability on your chosen date. If you have a preferred hairstylist, please let us know when making your appointment.
Founder
Alfred
Alfred is the director hairstylist and the owner of Asian Hair Salon. Originally from Singapore, he has traveled extensively throughout Asia, honing his craft and developing a deep understanding of Asian aesthetics. Now settled in Edinburgh, he is known for his meticulous attention to detail and artistic flair, which allow him to create results that exceed expectations.

Customer Support
Anna
Anna is originally from Estonia and supports the customer support operations across all our brands.
Working quietly behind the scenes, she helps ensure
that every guest interaction is handled with care, clarity, and consistency.
Overseeing customer support for Asian Hair Salon,
Yakiniku Edinburgh, Thai2Go, and Mandala Teahouse, Anna focuses on building smooth, reassuring experiences - so guests feel at ease, supported, and well looked after at every touchpoint.

Director Hairstylist
Mei
Mei is a skilled Malaysian stylist with 25 years of experience. She has been gathering her expertise serving clients in the UK since 2002, and is now proficient in both Asian, as well as Western hair textures. Mei is a dedicated listener who takes the time to understand her clients’ unique desires. With a focus on creating healthy, beautiful hair — the experience will be like no other.

Senior Hairstylist
Oscar
Oscar is our talented Hong Kong based stylist, bringing 15 years of experience and passion for hairdressing to Asian Hair Salon. Oscar is known for his ability to combine traditional techniques with modern trends to create stunning results. Since relocating to the UK under the BNO program in 2021, Oscar has been ensuing his clients achieve their desired looks, leaving the salon confident and satisfied every time.

Senior Hairstylist
Bruce
Bruce is an experienced stylist originally from Beijing, with over 15 years of professional hairdressing experience. His work is defined by dedication, consistency, and a calm, attentive approach.
Specialising in clean lines and structured cuts, Bruce is recognised for his precision in cutting. He takes the time to understand each client's needs, applying
careful attention throughout to ensure seamless results.
